K.O.D.E.D partners, Anita Andeweg and Marina Constandse share a passion for short-term productions and their construction. Their unique styling and conceptual expertise are the key ingredients which make the kreative mix of this dynamic duo, experts in their chosen field.
Part of a new generation of thought in the eventing industry, both Andeweg and Constandse believe in sharing, instead of withholding their knowledge. This in an effort to build the kreative standard and raise awareness around the art of staging an event.

No longer do fairy lights and chair covers form the basis of an event. “South African productions need to step-up and take their rightful place as a visual, yet functional, art form,” say Andeweg and Constandse. Both go on to add that although events should always be aesthetically pleasing, their conceptualisation and construction should always be styled with a specific purpose in mind.

Inspired by the Art Nouveau period when kreativity first began to have purpose, both Andeweg and Constandse are most passionate about art for the sake of function, which is indeed the very definition of event design.

Artistic events with both substance and purpose are the offerings of this inspired and passionate kreative team. And K.O.D.E.D designs productions which communicate the objectives and message of an event, from the moment the first hand-selected bloom is carefully placed in a centre-piece, to the final champagne flute being cleared away.
